Taps

- Aerator:

The aerator available as a standard in all Teka taps is a filter which mixes the air and water and gives more volume to the water. All Teka models have exposed aerator except MZ model which has hidden aerator. Thanks to the hidden aerator we get such avant-garde shapes without weldings and the cleaning of the tap and the dismantling is made easier with a key included with the tap.

- Antiscalding:

Teka taps incorporate a device which avoids burns or scalding produced by water at high temperatures.

- Bronze:

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. Tin gives the copper resistance and hardness. Bronze is both elegant and practical in pipes and taps. Teka also has a wide range of taps in other finishes and colours such as inox( stainless steel), white, brown, sand beige, degrade, etc adapting to all kind of aesthetics.

- Ceramic discs:

Teka tap cartridges incorporate ceramic discs which allow the use of the single lever mixers. These discs have porous surfaces which retain the lubricant longer helping to achieve smoother, gentler movements and therefore prolonging the life of taps, avoiding damage of the ceramic cartridge. The operating gear is protected from water giving therefore continuous lubrication.

- Chrome:

Chrome is stainless (it is covered by a rust layer which is self-protecting), very hard and fragile. It is the traditional finish of the taps. It is used for its attractive white and silver-plated colour and its ability to protect taps, whose last outer layer is made of brass. Furthermore, Teka taps have a galvanised covering of nickel-chrome which exceeds the European Norm which requires 200 hours in the salt spray test. Teka also has a wide range of taps in other finishes and colours such as Inox( stainless steel), white, brown, sand beige, degrade, etc adapting to all kind of aesthetics.

- Drop down spout:

The drop down system of MJ makes possible to reduce the height of the tap until 115 mm when it is required to open the window when the tap is installed under a window or to save inswing or revolving windows.

- Flexible inlet pipes:

All Teka taps have high quality stainless steel flexible inlet pipes with watertight 3/8” o-rings of easy installation and easier replacement than rigid copper pipes. Teka flexible inlet pipes fulfil the requirements of the quality control authorities for endurance and health protection.

- High cast swivel spout:

High cast swivel spout mixers can be easily turned and they make it easy to wash big containers.

- Low cast swivel spout:

Low cast swivel spouts are useful when there are inswing or revolving windows.

- Matt-chrome:

A matt chrome finish is achieved through a process in which the part is coated with a special nickel layer which gives the tap a more matt and homogenous look. A chrome covering is added later, which gives the tap the same resistance and long life as conventional chrome. Matt chrome is both sober and modern. The new matt chrome finish matches with the aluminium finishes in the kitchen and it is also the perfect match for Teka linen and microtextured taps. Teka also has a wide range of taps in other finishes and colours such as inox( stainless steel), white, brown, sand beige, degrad, etc adapting to all kind of aesthetics.

- Pull out spouts:

Pull out spouts are very useful since they make using the sink easier. There are tap models which incorporate an anti-limescale pull out shower with single or double shower( 2 jets).

- Semi-proffesional tap:

MY1 is an industrial tap for big bowls.

- Single lever taps:

Single lever taps adjust the temperature better (saving around 50% water), they have ceramic discs, making a perfect fit so avoiding drips and leaks. Furthermore, they are more comfortable because you do not have to regulate the temperature again if they are closed while lathering (Optimal regulation of the temperature and the water flow). Single lever mixers require 200.000 cycles of opening and turn. Teka single levers overcome 500.000 cycles according to the tests.

- Swivel spout:

Teka kitchen taps stand out for their functionality and easy use. An example of this could be the 360º swivel spouts, which move smoothly in a wide arc allowing the largest pots and pans to be cleaned easily. Swivel spouts have to resist 80.000 cycles but Teka taps offer up to 200.000 cycles.

- Temperature limiter:

Thanks to the adjustable temperature limiter incorporated in the cartridge, the user will be able to save energy when heating water.

- Two hand mixer:

Teka two hand mixers have a ceramic ¾” fitting, which guarantees a more precise flow selection (Measure to economize water) and eliminates the water hammer. The anti-noise grille reduces the noise levels to within the normalized limits without affecting the amount of water getting through. ¾” ceramic discs and the antifriction ring ensure greater safety and longer tap life expectancy exceeding the UNE EN 200 Norm. Two classic style hand mixers are ideal for rustic kitchens. Teka two hand mixers exceed 500.000 cycles according to the test.

- Water saving:

Teka cartridges incorporate an adjustable flow limiter to save water every time the mixer is used.
